Late night comedians, such as David Letterman, know that the sure way to hit the jackpot in ratings is to make fun of Governor Christie’s weight. A surer bet for high ratings is to have the Governor himself come on your show while you do this to him in person. Considering his short fuse and bluster, Chris Christie is surprisingly a good sport about it all. And that’s the problem. Why can’t our governor just lose some weight?

Six Flags Plans Job Fair This Saturday

JACKSON — Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey’s largest seasonal employer and the largest employer in Ocean County, is hiring more than 4,000 employees including 200 interns for the 2013 season. Since opening the employment center Monday, the park has received a steady flow of applicants getting a jump on the hiring season.

Insurance Broker Replaced With Political Boss’ Firm

BERGEN COUNTY – Last month, Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan decided to replace the county’s longtime insurance broker with a firm headed by South Jersey political boss George E. Norcross. Now the replaced company is calling for state and federal authorities to investigate the arrangement, according to a report by the Bergen Record.
