MONROE– PSEG recently awarded the Monroe Township Youth Soccer league a $300 grant in support of the volunteer efforts of one of its employees. The energy company gave the grant to the Monroe Township nonprofit on behalf of Wendy Dix, a clerk with PSE&G who assists with the team’s fundraising efforts. The money was used for team apparel.

The signs are no doubt reassuring to those who welcome them as a promise that green farm fields will never give way to residential subdivisions.
