Dec. 23 at 10:17 a.m. – At the Hudson County Jail, Officer Thomas Sarnecki arrested Irvington resident Scott Lewis, 27, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Linden DARE Graduates

LINDEN—Linden Public Schools participate in the DARE, Drug Abuse Resistance Education program. This program, for students in third through fifth grades, aims to provide the tools students need to resist peer pressure and to say no to drugs and alcohol.

Linden Youth Karate Class

LINDEN – The recreation department will sponsor a karate class for Linden students between the ages of 5 and 15. Sessions will be held Friday afternoons, from 4 – 5 p.m., starting Jan. 8 through March 5, 2010 at the John T. Gregorio Recreation Center, 330 Helen Street.
