Less Than A Month Left To Register For Disaster Assistance

SOMERSET—Those who suffered losses or damages as a result of the severe storms and flooding of mid-March and who live or have a business in the New Jersey counties declared disaster areas by President Obama under the April 2, 2010 declaration have less than a month left to apply for disaster assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

NJ Attorney General Revises AMBER Alert Plan

STATE—Attorney General Paula T. Dow today announced a revised AMBER Alert plan designed to provide law enforcement officials with clear criteria to determine when they should activate the emergency broadcast system to seek public assistance in locating a child who was recently abducted and is believed to be in danger, including family abductions.

Stars To Come Out For NJ Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony

NEWARK—The stars will shine brightly as 15 New Jersey legends are celebrated at the third annual New Jersey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to be held on Sunday, May 2 at NJPAC in Newark. Governor Chris Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie are co-chairs of the event, which has become New Jersey’s version of the Academy Awards.
