LAKEWOOD, NJ – The Charleston RiverDogs scored five runs in the top of the fourteenth inning Monday night to beat the BlueClaws 6-1.
MONTCLAIR – Montclair State University junior midfielder Robert Sinicola (North Caldwell) scored a game-high five goals, including two goals in the decisive third quarter, to lead the Red Hawks to a 12-8 win over Kean University in the Skyline Conference Championship game on Saturday afternoon.
UNION– Sophomore Lee Cavico and junior Ken Gregory combined for 12 RBI as Kean University swept visiting William Paterson University, 17-9 & 10-4, Saturday afternoon in the regular season conference finale for both.
NEWARK – The Kean University softball team swept the New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader from host Rutgers-Newark on Saturday afternoon, clinching the fifth seed in the upcoming NJAC tournament.
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Kean University men’s and women’s track and field teams had a limited number of competitors at the Elliston Invitational at Lock Haven University on Saturday afternoon.
CAMDEN – The Camden Riversharks defeated the Newark Bears 10-9 in eleven innings on Sunday at Campbell’s Field in Camden, New Jersey. The teams combined for 33 hits and used 11 pitchers in the 4 hour and 21 minute contest.
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – For the second straight night the BlueClaws were dominated by a Kannapolis starter, as Lakewood fell 5-1 Saturday evening.
UNION – Ramapo College won a pair of one-run games, as they earned a sweep of host Kean University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. The Roadrunners (25-13, 12-4 NJAC) rallied to win the opener, 5-4, before defeating the Cougars (23-14, 7-9 NJAC) in nightcap, 1-0, in eight innings.
UNION – Junior Jeff White recorded a complete game win as the Rowan University Profs defeated host Kean University, 12-4, Thursday afternoon in New Jersey Athletic Conference action at Jim Hynes Stadium.
MONTCLAIR – Sophomore midfielder Cora Delfini and junior Kayla Henderson each scored nine goals as top-seeded Montclair State scored the first seven goals and defeated Kean 20-9 in Skyline Tournament action on Thursday.
