Sophomore striker JULIA CASERES (Union, NJ/Union), the Division III national leader in goals, posted a hat trick against her former team to lead the Gothic Knights to an emotional, 5-1 rout of rival Rutgers-Newark, in an NJAC game on Saturday at the Robert L. McNulty Memorial Soccer Field, in front of more than 300 fans.
NEWARK—Rutgers-Newark scored a pair of header goals in the first 17:36 of the first half, including the eventual winner less than two minutes into the contest as the Scarlet Raiders downed the New Jersey City University men’s soccer team in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game on Saturday night at Alumni Field.

WAYNE—New Jersey City University kept it close in the opening set against William Paterson University, but was unable to prevail and lost to the Pioneers in three, 25-23, 25-8, 25-10, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match on Tuesday night at the Rec Center.
