WESTFIELD—If you enjoy helping youngsters learn about pets and wildlife, the Union County 4-H Third Grade Pet Club has a place for you. The Pet Club is looking for an adult volunteer to help run their meetings, which take place one a mouth on Friday evenings during the school year.
WESTFIELD—For youngsters who are fascinated by pioneers, frontier living, and life in the American colonies, the Union County 4-H Living History Club offers a year packed with hands-on fun.
CLARK—Contact We Care, a 24-hour caring and crisis hotline, will conduct an interactive, two-day suicide intervention training for members of the general public on Oct. 3 and 4 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Clark.
WESTFIELD—United Way of Greater Union County is turning 40 this year and will celebrate by “Painting the Town Red”. This is the third year that Susan Levy-Cantor, a resident of Westfield, will chair the event.
