Union County Residents Urged To Dispose Of Unwanted Prescription Medication Via Project Medicine Drop

UNION COUNTY — The Union County Prosecutor’s Office, Union County Police Department, and local elected officials and health professionals are urging residents to take a moment this October to dispose of their unwanted prescription medication at one of two county locations participating in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General Division of Community Affairs’ Project Medicine Drop initiative.

Springfield Free Public Library Adds New No-Cost Service For The Print-Impaired

SPRINGFIELD – The New Jersey State Library Talking Book & Braille Center (TBBC) and the Springfield Free Public Library have partnered to bring TBBC’s no-cost services to the library. TBBC’s services, known as the “Outspoken Library,” serve New Jersey residents (children, teens and adults) who cannot read standard print or who cannot hold a book or turn the pages of a book due to a physical impairment, a reading disability or vision impairment.
