RAHWAY – Fourth grade students at Franklin School in Rahway recently held their annual Invention Convention. Students participated by designing and writing about their very own invention.
RAHWAY–The Rahway Inter F.C. U12 Boys team went undefeated and won Flight A in the Randolph Memorial Day Tournament. The team was coached by Henry Valderrama and Marcello Aguirre.
Fourth grade students at Franklin School in Rahway recently held their annual Wax Museum. During this time, students researched information about, and prepared a report on a famous New Jerseyan.
In May, the Rahway High School Band Boosters hosted a pancake breakfast at the high school. During the breakfast, those in attendance were treated to performances by the school’s award-winning Jazz Ensemble.
The fourth grades at Madison Elementary School in Rahway held their annual wax museum on April 8. This year’s theme was “New Jersey Trivia.”
RAHWAY—Rahway’s Olympic Day for Special Needs Children was held on Friday, May 29, at the Rahway Recreation Center. This annual event, which takes place thanks to the tireless efforts of Rahway High School special education teacher Patricia Williams, continues to be one of the “best kept secrets” about Rahway High School.
On Wednesday, May 20, the ESL/Bilingual Program at Franklin School in Rahway held their annual Multicultural Night. Participating students dressed in their countries’ typical clothing and parents brought a plate of their countries’ typical food.
RAHWAY—Registration for the 2009 Summer Camp at the YMCA of Eastern Union County, Rahway Branch is underway.
RAHWAY – Friday, June 19 is the final day to register for classes and programs offered by the Rahway Recreation Department this summer. Most programs and classes are open to city residents and non-residents.
RAHWAY – The school board will provide information on a proposed district-wide capital projects referendum at a town meeting on Thursdya, June 11, at 6:45 p.m. in the Rahway Library’s meeting room.
