LINDEN – Police are warning Linden residents to lock their car doors and keep valuables out of sight following a series of car break-ins and motor vehicle thefts during the overnight hours between April 19 and 20.
LINDEN – A 26-year-old Linden man left his car running while he went into the convenience store at the Hess Station on West St. Georges Avenue Tuesday evening. When he came back outside, the vehicle was gone, police said.

NION COUNTY – The Play Ball for Miracles charity softball tournament has been rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 28. The annual fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network was originally planned for April 17, but wet field conditions at Warinanco Park forced its postponement.
