RAHWAY—Becky the farmer came to Roosevelt School in Rahway to deliver eggs to all kindergarten class. The farmer introduced a hen and rooster to the class and explained the process of using an incubator to hatch the eggs.

UNION – Sophomore Ryan Gibbons broke a seven all tie in the bottom of the eighth with an RBI double as Kean University defeated visiting Richard Stockton College, 8-7, Tuesday afternoon in NJAC Tournament action.
MAHWAH – Junior first baseman Katie Yard singled home senior Allison Thibault with the game-winning run in the top of the eighth inning, as the Kean University softball team defeated Ramapo College, 2-1, to open the New Jersey Athletic Confernece tournament on Tuesday afternoon.
