Rahway River Watershed Flood Control Group Meets Thursday

UNION TOWNSHIP — The Mayors Council Rahway River Watershed Flood Control will meet Thursday, Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. in the Union Township Municipal Building to discuss objectives for 2014 and the next steps on the Rahway River flood mitigation effort.

Crossroads Hosts Comedy Night Fundraiser

Judge Accused Of Trying To Help Reduce Punishment For Garwood Councilman’s Daughter

GARWOOD – A municipal court judge who serves Clark, Garwood and Scotch Plains is accused of trying to intervene and reduce the punishment for a Garwood councilman’s daughter who was arrested for alleged possession of alcohol, according to a report by the Clark-Garwood Patch.

GARWOOD – The Union County College Foundation celebrated its 21st Annual Gala on Nov. 15, at the Westwood in Garwood. Held to raise money for scholarships for students, the event raised more than $200,000, which will help further the core mission of the college, to provide students with an affordable, accessible, and quality education.
