(via Inside Out) The Fanwood Police Department is collecting holiday gift donations for needy Union County children as part of the Parents as Teachers program. A giving tree with ornaments for each child will be located outside of Borough Hall on Tues., Nov. 26.
TRENTON —Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) today announced its “2013 Legislative Champions” and recognized state Sen. Nicholas Scutari (D-Linden) and Assemblywoman Linda Stender (D-Fanwood) for their leadership within the New Jersey Legislature to stop drunk driving by authoring lifesaving ignition interlock legislation.
FANWOOD — Fanwood elected officials, recreation commissioners and Union County Freeholders celebrated the ribbon cutting of a parcourse fitness trail around the perimeter of Forest Road Park. The improvement, which provides for various forms of exercise, was funded in part through $50,000 in Kids Recreation monies from the Union County Open Space Trust Fund program.
