Charity Basketball Game Will Aid Families Of 2 Children With Cancer


SOUTH AMBOY — On Saturday, Dec. 21, the Friends of South Amboy will be sponsoring a night of charity basketball and a dinner buffet to benefit Samantha Carey and Kaitlyn Kehoe, two local children who have been diagnosed with cancer.

There was more than one way to dunk South Amboy’s Tony Gonsalves and help the Dowdell Library Foundation raise funds to purchase new computers for the South Amboy library.

SOUTH AMBOY — The Dowdell Library Foundation of South Amboy raised hundreds of dollars in donations to purchase new computers for the library through a dunking booth at the South Amboy Arts Festival and Street Fair on Sept. 22.

Middlesex County Group Receives Red Cross Grant For Superstorm Sandy Recovery

MIDDLESEX COUNTY –The American Red Cross today awarded a $782,000 grant to the Middlesex County Long Term Recovery Group to address the needs of residents who do not have adequate resources to recover from Superstorm Sandy.
