MIDDLESEX COUNTY – State Sen. Joseph F. Vitale, Assemblyman John S. Wisniewski and Assemblyman Craig J. Coughlin announced last week that four school districts within their 19th Legislative District are eligible to receive a combined $5.7 million in grants from the New Jersey Department of Education and School Development Authority for various school construction projects.

SAYREVILLE – NJDOT officials today announced a series of overnight closures of the entrance and exit ramps at the Route 9 interchange with Bordentown Avenue the next two weekends in Sayreville. The ramp closures are necessary for paving and drainage work in conjunction with a major ongoing roadway rehabilitation project addressing Route 9 in Middlesex and Monmouth counties.
SAYREVILLE – Five months after kicking-off a $300 million statewide post-Superstorm Sandy home buyout program, state officials announced Thursday that the first two home purchases, both in Sayreville, were completed at pre-storm values, with dozens of additional closings expected in the next few months.
SAYREVILLE—A 19-year member of the Sayreville Board of Education, who was elected to his first term the year after he graduated from the district’s high school, Kevin E. Ciak has been named the New Jersey Board of Education Member of the Year for 2013. The award, the ninth annual, is sponsored by the New Jersey School Boards Association.
