MIDDLSEX COUNTY – Middlesex County Sheriff Mildred S. Scott is re-establishing the position of undersheriff as part of an effort to build stronger relationships between county and local law enforcement and to enhance operational efficiencies in the department.

PERTH AMBOY — Mayor Wilda Diaz will swear in Lieutenant Tibor Kasco as a captain of the Perth Amboy Police Department at an afternoon ceremony held at City Hall Council Chambers on Friday, Jan. 14.
STATE -- State offices are opening two hours late and NJ Transit is reporting some delays, but last night's snow storm did not have the disruptive effect of the post-Christmas blizzard.
STATE – Most New Jersey residents can expect at least six inches of snow from the latest winter storm to hit our area, according to projections by the National Weather Service. The state’s eastern counties are likely to see the most snowfall, with some areas receiving up to 10 inches or more.
