WOODBRIDGE – The Woodbridge Township Recreation Department will hold a summer job fair this Saturday for students and residents (16 years of age and older) seeking summer employment. The event will take place at the Woodbridge Community Center from 10 a.m. to noon.

Former Perth Amboy Recreation Supervisor Sentenced For Stealing City Funds

TRENTON –A former recreation supervisor for Perth Amboy was sentenced to community service and probation for stealing city funds which she said she used for purchases for herself and former Mayor Joseph Vas, Attorney General Paula T. Dow and Criminal Justice Director Stephen J. Taylor announced.

County, State Officials Unveil “Green” Web Site

MIDDLESEX COUNTY – Middlesex County Freeholder H. James Polos was joined Wednesday morning by state officials for the launch of the county’s new sustainability web site, the first result of the Middlesex County Sustainability Plan. The plan is the first of its kind in New Jersey and will be used as a model statewide.

Colonia, Iselin Volunteer Fire Departments To Receive Federal Security Grant

WOODBRIDGE – Rep. Leonard Lance announced that two Woodbridge Township communities will each receive grant funds from the U.S. Homeland Security Department to purchase safety equipment for their volunteer fire departments. Woodbridge Township Mayor John McCormac, community leaders and local fire officials joined the New Jersey Republican in making the announcement.
