EDISON—Fifth graders at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison marked “Pi Day,” a celebration of March 14 related to the number that represents a circle’s circumference-to-diameter ratio 3.14, by calculating pi during various activities.
MIDDLESEX—Our Lady of Mount Virgin School will host an open house for pre-k, kindergarten and first grade students on Sunday, April 18. The open house will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with story time and activity at noon.
EDISON—The finals of the New Jersey Science Olympiad were held at Middlesex County College on March 16. The Olympiad is a science competition designed to stimulate interest in science and technology.
