MIDDLESEX COUNTY — Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman today reminded the residents of Middlesex County that a state-led gun buyback event will take place this coming Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28, at three churches in the county – one each in New Brunswick, Old Bridge and Perth Amboy.

Spicuzzo was sentenced to prison today for orchestrating a jobs-for-cash scheme in which he collected about $112,000 in bribes from individuals seeking positions or promotions in the sheriff’s office, Acting Attorney General John J.
