SAYREVILLE-The bridge in this picture, located in the Parlin section of Sayreville, is set for demolition starting on April 23, with the intersection of Ernston Road and Bordentown Avenue being closed for 45 days. It will be replaced with a new bridge during this time.

SOUTH AMBOY-On March 19, 1943, a St. Patrick's Day Party was held at Hoffman High School Auditorium under the auspices of South Amboy First Aid. Music was by the Nicorvo Orchestra. Proceeds were used for the Squad War Relief Fund. Admission was 50 cents.
