NEW BRUNSWICK—The State Theatre is collecting “gently used” winter coats to help benefit New Jersey residents in need. The coats are being collected for the annual coat drive hosted by the nonprofit organization, Jersey Cares.
STATE–Eleven land-based New Jersey Lighthouses, two museums displaying the Fresnel lens, and one life savings station host the 2010 “Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey” weekend on Saturday, Oct. 16 and Sunday, Oct. 17.
CLARK — The Skulski Art Gallery of the Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark will present a photographic exhibit titled “SPACES” from Oct. 15-29.
Among the many ‘titles’ bestowed on me by family members over the years, are “Best Italian Sauce Maker”, “#1 Wife” and “World’s Greatest Mom”. I know at least this last one is true because I have a tee shirt to prove it. When I taught dance a few years ago, I was given a trophy that said “Outstanding Performer and Choreographer”.

NEW BRUNSWICK – The Provident Bank Foundation recently awarded The State Theatre Regional Arts Center in New Brunswick with a $10,000 grant – the final installment of a three-year, $30,000 pledge – to support its Milk & Cookies series.
