Community Response Team Members Complete Training

RAHWAY – Community members recently completed training to be a part of Rahway’s Community Emergency Response Team #2.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

Zamanski Named To Dean’s List

LINDEN—Lori Zamanski, a resident of Linden and a member of the class of 2011, has been named to the Dean’s List at Providence College for the spring 2009 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.
