The annual Latino Action Network (LAN) will hold a virtual legislative conference this Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 9 AM.
The conference will feature panels featuring community leaders discussing the many pressing issues facing Latinos in New Jersey, including immigration, political empowerment, labor, housing, disability rights and advocacy, income inequality, educational equity, youth activism, environmental justice, and criminal justice reform.
Speakers include Governor Phil Murphy, Congressman Frank Pallone, and other invited guests.
The Latino Action Network’s annual Legislative Conference is the largest gathering of Hispanic community organizers and public policy advocates in the state of New Jersey.
The 2020 conference was attended by more than 350 activists and elected officials from every corner of the state.
“As we head into this new year, we will continue to monitor and address the political and social issues that affect Latino communities in New Jersey,” said LAN President Christian Estevez.
