Magic won’t cure Covid-19

Four COVID-19 vaccine candidates are in Phase 3 clinical testing in the United States but there is a broad range of voters reject the scientific process behind the vaccine technology, creating an almost magical belief in leaders who lack credibility.

Audio recordings released by Bob Woodward, President Donald Trump understood the danger of the coronavirus but instead of acting to protect people’s health, he downplayed the pandemic and blurred facts.

With 200,000 Americans dead from the disease, some argue that the recordings prove Trump is guilty of contributory negligence.

Trump caused more people to get sick by promoting ineffectual medicine, inciting mobs to resist containment measures, demanding that people return to work before the virus is isolated as well as lying about how deadly COVID-19 can be and making unfounded promises of a cure or vaccine.

Now, health officials are warning that a vaccine requires testing to insure that it is safe and effective before it is released to the public but Trump’s followers seem to be ignoring all caution.
