White Rose Restaurant in Linden sells winning $50,000 lottery ticket

There were two New Jersey Lottery tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, July 3rd drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize.

One winning ticket was sold at the White Rose Restaurant, 1301 East Elizabeth Ave. in Linden, lottery officials announced. The other was sold at a Bergen County Krauszer’s Food Store, in Dumont.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, July 3rd drawing were: 40, 43, 45, 50 and 61. The Red Power Ball number was 25. The Multiplier number was 03.

The Powerball jackpot rises to $165,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held Saturday, July 6th at 10:59 pm.

In addition to the two third-tier prizewinning tickets, there were 27,572 New Jersey Lottery players who took home an estimated $151,559 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Executive Director James Carey.
