Rahway among the best places for Women’s Basketball

In a recent analysis of 36,000 cities across the United States, College Factual found Rahway to be one of the best locations in the nation for Women’s Basketball.

The area was recognized in the rankings report for being a great city for student athletes, according to the data analytics company that focuses on higher education outcomes.

Central New Jersey is one of the best locations in the nation for Women’s Basketball.

Due to the community’s reputation, undergraduates from all over the United States – and all over the world – come to study at colleges and universities close to Rahway.

After graduation, many of these student athletes go on to careers that combine their love for sports with their academic major, such as coaching, sports journalism, and sports medicine.

There are two nearby schools that made the top 15 percent of this year’s rankings, taking into account both the athletic competitiveness of the specific team and the academic progress of the student-athletes on the team.

Rutgers University – New Brunswick and Seton Hall University are two colleges near Rahway that have earned a distinguished spot within the top tier of this year’s ranking.

Seton Hall University is ranked #70 overall and #69 in the Division I Women’s Basketball category. Roughly 6,000 undergraduates call Seton Hall home each year. The school has a student to faculty ratio of 13 to 1 and a freshman retention rate of 85%.

In total, Seton Hall supports 14 sports programs. Seton Hall provides approximately $2,776,385 in sports-related aid to men and $4,141,931 in sports-related aid to women on an annual basis.

Rutgers University – New Brunswick is ranked #117 overall and #108 in the Division I Women’s Basketball category. Roughly 36,200 undergraduates call Rutgers New Brunswick home each year. The school has a student to faculty ratio of 15 to 1 and a freshman retention rate of 92%.

In total, Rutgers New Brunswick supports 20 sports programs. Rutgers New Brunswick provides approximately $6,513,744 in sports-related aid to men and $6,372,446 in sports-related aid to women on an annual basis.
