Trump’s shutdown may fulfill a promise to Putin

Please consider.

I’m starting to feel that the idea behind Trump’s shutdown is not really as stupid as it looks at first glance.

Consider, who stands to gain from the weakening of our essential services? Cyber criminals, Soviet spies, drug traffickers, violent criminals and other violators have been made harder to detect, let alone combat effectively.

It’s as if Trump’s shutdown was not really intended to fulfill a promise made to the American people. Rather, it’s as if he was fulfilling some undisclosed promise made to Putin and to those in organized crime.

Why else would he claim to be dedicated to our security and well being while weakening the very agencies needed to protect us?
