George Segal exhibit at Montclair State University

? George Segal Gallery proudly presents artworks from the Permanent Collection of Montclair State University.

? This exhibit features more than 20 works by American icon George Segal, all from Montclair State University’s Permanent Collection.

? Mostly known for his figurative sculpture, this exhibit focuses more on his two-dimensional work, including drawings, silkscreens, aquatints, and lithographs.

Segal was a painter and sculptor associated with the Pop Art movement who was presented with the United States National Medal of Arts in 1999.

? The exhibition remains up through the fall semester, running through Saturday, December 15.

Gallery hours are 11-6 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays; plus 12.30-7.30 Thursdays. It’s closed Sundays and Mondays.
