Wisniewski named to small business development board

Former Assemblyman John S. Wisniewski has been named a member of the statewide advisory board of the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers’ network.

Wisniewski, who was chairman of the Assembly Transportation Committee during part of his 22 years in the legislature, operates a Sayreville law practice, Wisniewski & Associates LLC.

Wisniewski has also been a strong advocate for the program over the years, said Deborah Smarth, NJSBDC network’s chief operating officer.

“The NJSBDC program offers invaluable services and assistance for small business owners and entrepreneurs around the state,” Wisniewski said. “The economic impact of the program and the assistance provided for small businesses are important to economic growth and jobs. I look forward to my service on this Board.”

“We welcome John to our state advisory board,” Brenda Hopper, CEO and state director of the NJSBDC network said. “His business, legal and legislative experience is well regarded and we look forward to his contributions to our board.”

“John Wisniewski has been an avid supporter of the NJSBDC program for many years while he served in the New Jersey General Assembly,” Smarth said. “His diverse insights and strong knowledge are recognized. We’re glad he is now serving as a member of our statewide advisory board.”
