The Gateway Family YMCA announced today the addition of an expanded Before and After School Care program in Union, NJ providing additional care to children attending Township of Union Public School’s Full-Day Preschool program. Registration is available at The Gateway Family YMCA – Five Points Branch, 201 Tucker Avenue, Union, NJ for Pre-K participants attending the following elementary schools: Livingston, Connecticut Farms and Hannah Caldwell. In-person registration is required to be completed by the parent or guardian and limited space is available for all programs.
The Gateway Family YMCA provides After School Care programs in nine Union Township schools: Battle Hill, Burnet Middle School, Connecticut Farms, Franklin, Hannah Caldwell, Jefferson, Kawameeh Middle School, Livingston and Washington. In addition, Before School Care is available in six elementary schools. This expansion will provide additional space for a separate After School Care program specifically focused on Pre-K participants with age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
Through a well-rounded approach to youth development, The Gateway Family YMCA’s Before and After School Care programs offer activities in a caring and safe environment during the critical hours surrounding the academic school day. Whether through sports, mentorship, or academic support, the Y nurtures the potential of youth throughout the school year and provides parents with the care they need.
