Medical Doctor likes McCormick’s Medicare for All plan

Lisa McCormick has been endorsed by Dr. Michael Rushnak, a member of Physicians for a National Health Care Program (PNHP), who said the Senate contender has a sound plan to make health care a human right.

Dr. Michael Rushnak, a former chairman of the East Brunswick Democratic Party and a member of Physicians for a National Health Care Program (PNHP), has endorsed Lisa McCormick for U.S. Senator.

Rushnak, a leader of the Central New Jersey chapter of Our Revolution who was a delegate to the  1992 national Democratic convention, is a Medical Doctor with a Master of Public Health degree who has also written several novels.

In an email to New Jersey voters, Rushnak said, “I’m writing to tell you about a remarkable candidate named Lisa McCormick. She’s a fearless fighter running to become the first woman elected U.S. Senator in New Jersey history — and when she wins the primary on June 5, she will be your advocate.”

“Lisa has dedicated her entire career to fighting for justice for the middle class and those in need. In the US Senate, she will lead the fight for National Improved Medicare for All,” Rushnak said. “Sitting across from Lisa the first time we met, her passion to help the people of New Jersey came though loud and clear.”

“I am a retired physician who felt the energy she projected, to become the honest leader that New Jersey desperately needs,” said Rushnak. “I am confident Lisa McCormick is the real deal. As a progressive Democrat, she needs your help her defeat the corrupt incumbent Senator. You may connect with Lisa McCormick on Twitter or Facebook and you can learn more about her campaign by visiting her website at www.lisamccormick.org.”

:We need to give Lisa an opportunity to lead our state to a brighter future,” said Rushnak. “My fellow Democrats: Any Blue won’t do!! We need a dynamic & caring Lisa McCormick to work with Bernie Sanders in the U.S Senate!”

Rushnak also appeared with McCormick on Facebook Live to discuss her Medicare for All proposal.
