New Yorker shot in Old Bridge

A Staten Island man remained in critical condition after being shot in Old Bridge township.

The 44-year-old victim was hospitalized after he was wounded at about 9 a.m. Tuesday at a limousine company located on Route 9 in the township.

The shooting is being investigated by Detective Michael Machen of the Old Bridge Police Department and Detective Mark Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigation is active and is continuing.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief William Volkert of the Old Bridge Police Department declined to identify the victim.
