Joe hand built an open back 5-string Banjo and on the face, sketched a Pine Barrens scene and inscribed “Lines on the Pines”  beneath the drawing. Joe also did background vocals on the CD, “Lines on the Pines,” which was recorded, produced and engineered by Jimmy Heffernan, a musician on the CD, who once played for Joe Diffie and Brad Paisley among others. The CD, with lead vocals by Paul and Cookie Pedersen, can be purchased at the event. Also to be debuted and available will be the recently released CD, “The Pines of My Past” by Gabriel Coia, local recording artist, musician and NJ Pine Barrens historian.
