Spring Fine Art and Crafts at Brookdale Park, Montclair, NJ

On June 18-19 the 28th annual Spring Fine Art and Crafts at Brookdale Park show will be held in Bloomfield and Montclair. You can meet over 160 juried fine artists and fine crafters, taste a variety of specialty foods, and learn what inspires creativity – all at Essex County’s Brookdale Park.

Co-sponsored by Rose Squared Productions, Inc. and the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs,  from 10 am to 5 pm, rain or shine, this free to the public show features American made, hand crafted work, in jewelry, fiber, leather, glass, clay, metal and wood as well as fine art, sculpture and fine photography.

Rose Squared is pleased to present many new exhibitors at this year’s show. Maryland fine artist, Gloria Condon, says she loves color and is “still fascinated” when she can blend colors together and find a new color to use in her art pieces. PA artist, Deborah Butts, describes her approach to each work beginning “like an eagerly anticipated journey. You embark on the journey with excitement – your brush poised above the canvas.  Along the way, you may take an unplanned detour or side trip… before your reach your destination, the completion of your work.”

Explore the booths of new clay artist Kim L’Heureux from Morris, NY; glass artist Jonathan Leon of Quebec and mixed media artist Kathryn Nidy of Asheville, NC.

The show is located on Watchung, Bellevue and Grove Avenues in Bloomfield/Montclair. (For GPS – use 473 Watchung Ave, Bloomfield). There is unlimited parking within the park. For additional information go to www.rosesquared.com.
