Senator Bernie Sanders supporters will kickoff the campaign with Assemblyman John Wisniewski, state chairman for the Democratic presidential hopeful whose meteoric rise surprised establishment politicians and the media.

“He will fire you up and explain how you can best help the New Jersey effort,” said Kevin Keefe of Bernie’s Ballot Brigade the team working to secure the candidate’s place on the ballot across the nation.

Analilia Mejia of Working Families Alliance will walk volunteers through the delegate selection process and Hetty Rosenstein of the Communication Workers of America will talk about organizing efforts across the state.

Keefe will give an update on the campaign across the country as primary season rapidly approaches.

“We are collecting signatures to put Bernie on the Ballot, so bring your pen,” said Keefe. “You can also pick up petitions so you can gather them on your own. Bernie needs your help collecting, you are the campaign.”

Residents who want to help collect petition signatures may sign up at www.democratsforchange.net/gather to get a copy of the form and canvassing instructions.
