Clark, NJ— Families are invited to an ice cream social and movie night at Osceola Presbyterian Church on Thursday evening, Aug. 20. The free event is open to the community as well as church members.
The ice cream social will run from 6:30-7:15 p.m., with the movie starting at 7:15 p.m. “Nim’s Island is appropriate for all ages,” said event organizer Ginny Oxley. “It is exciting and a little scary in parts, but the young heroine will keep all kids interested as well as adults. Her pet seal and sea gull are fun for the little ones and the rest of us can enjoy a film which says a lot about our care of God’s world. Hope to see you all there.”
Those who attend are invited to bring lawn chairs (no recliners) or blankets if they would find them more comfortable than the church’s folding chairs. RSVPs are requested by Wednesday, Aug. 19. Please call the church office at 908-276-5300 and leave a message with your name, the number of children and adults who will be attending, and your phone number. You can also email that information to email@example.com.
