Rahway Family Fights 37k Property Tax Bill

Rafael Ortiz, and his wife built a 10,000 square foot home so their two disabled daughters could have enough space to feel independent but a $37,000 annual property tax bill is forcing the family to sell their investments in order to stay in the handicap accessible house, according to a report on nj.com.

Ortiz says the $37,000 tax bill is based on an incorrect property assessment but he is learning the difficulty of fighting City Hall.
