CLARK – Osceola Presbyterian Church invites community members to attend a series of Wednesday evening services to prepare for the Lenten season starting on Ash Wednesday, March 5.
The weekly programs begin at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary with a “hymn sing” and a meditation on “The Power of His Last Words.” All are invited to a supper of bread and soup in Fellowship Hall at 6:15 p.m. prior to the service. The Lenten season series continue on Wednesdays March 12, 19, 26, April 2 and April 9.
On Thursday, April 17, at 7 p.m., Osceola will hold a Maundy Thursday service including Communion and a dramatic presentation of “The Power of His Last Words – It Is Finished.”
Osceola will celebrate Easter with a Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 20, led by the church’s youth, which will be followed by a continental breakfast. Rev. Byron Leasure will present an uplifting Easter message at a traditional worship service at 10 a.m.
Osceola Presbyterian Church is located at 1689 Raritan Road in Clark, right off the Garden State Parkway at Exit 136.
