PERTH AMBOY-1910-The Order of Owls Perth Amboy Nest. No. 1027 held their first annual excursion to Coney Island on Aug. 7. They left from the South Amboy P.R.R. dock at 9 a.m. Round trip cost was 50 cents for adults and 25 cents for children under 12.

In 1911 Boynton Beach held Children’s Day on Saturdays in June. There were free rides on the merry-go-round, swings and slides. A Colored Salt Water Day was held in Boynton Beach on July 26. Sheehan’s Dancing Academy held dance receptions every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights. Beginning classes were held on Thursday nights.

The Wilson Democratic Club held a Rhode Island Clam Bake and Outing at Niekenig’s Grove on August 28, 1912.
