CARTERET-Does anyone have memories of the Brunswick Carteret Rink?

On March 25, 1967 a “Teen dance” was held with a $2.00 admission fee and the same year, Thursday nights were “Family Skate Nites.” Regular admission was $1.00, but on Thursday it was 50 cent.

Carteret once had: E. Hopp Jewlers on Pershing Ave., J. Orvilleway Sporting Goods on Cherry St., Babic’s Furniture House, Kahn’s Furniture, Lillian Inc., Sanitary Barber Shop, Town Grill Restaurant and Venok’s Department Store, all on Roosevelt Ave.

Washington Ave.-Albrecht’s Key Shop, Service Barber Shop and Tomori Photo Service.

Best Made Co. was on Cooke Ave, Greenwich Gardens; Wheeler Ave. and Kutchy’s on Charles St.
