PERTH AMBOY – On Wednesday, Jan. 29, during Catholic Schools Week, Perth Amboy Catholic School hosted International Art Day. The students, along with their art teacher, Rose Lavin Pennyfeather, prepared exhibits representing 40 countries.
Parents prepared desserts from the original home countries of their families and many students dressed in traditional costumes and provided music representing the countries of their ancestors. The gifted and talented art classes made a banner and a pinata for this multicultural festival.
