ALJ Cheerleaders Welcome Super Bowl Visitors

NEWARK — The Arthur L. Johnson High School Varsity Cheerleaders from Clark were recently selected to serve as part of the welcoming committee for the Super Bowl media and fans at Newark Airport. The Johnson Varsity Cheerleaders performed in Terminal A from 6 and 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27. The cheerleaders, accompanied by their coaches, Lindsey Barrett, Suzanne Hamilton, and Cristina Faro, welcomed the Super Bowl media and fans with spirited Super Bowl cheers, chants, gymnastics, and stunts. Terminal A at Newark Airport was decorated with balloons, Super Bowl signs, and a carpet resembling a football turf. Pictured above are Katy Shriner, Brianna Torres, Ali Byrne, Alexis Ciccone, Jess Sbarro, Kelli Kraus, Jess Zambrana, Jenna Koppel, Krista Ginesi, Christie Bove, Michelle Brocato, Deborah Neri, Emily Curran, Catie Moran, Danielle Marzano, Deanna Bove, and Alex Ianco as they cheer for an audience of travelers in Newark International Airport.
