CRANFORD — Introducing young children ages three to five years old to the elements of worship is the focus of a new Sunday School program at Calvary Lutheran Church, 108 Eastman Street, Cranford.  Each week through three-dimensional figures, stories, songs, crafts and a traditional snack the youngsters experience creating a sacred space, greeting each other as their church family, hearing and responding to God’s word, and sharing a “feast” replicating communion.  As the youngsters become familiar with these concepts, they are better able to recognize them and feel comfortable when they attend worship.  New participants are welcome.  Parents wanting more information are invited to call Lynda Pullis, Calvary Lutheran’s Youth and Family Ministry Director, at 908 -276-2418.
