HAZLET — New Jersey Transit commuters were facing another tough ride after a North Jersey Coast Line train struck and killed a man early Tuesday morning.
The entire line was suspended following the incident, according to a NJ Transit spokesperson who said a train bound for New York City hit the man west of the Hazlet Station shortly before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The 25 passengers aboard the train were taken by bus to the Matawan-Aberdeen Station and placed on another train.
