CLARK — Cub Scout Pack 145 of Clark will be hosting a pancake breakfast Saturday, Jan. 11, from 8 a.m. through noon at the Clark Recreation Center cafeteria, located at 430 Westfield Avenue. The menu will include pancakes, bacon, juice, coffee, and other goods.
The cost of the breakfast is only $5 at the door. The proceeds of the breakfast will be used to help fund Pack events including camping trips, meetings, and the many educational activities the organization provides for the scouts.
The Cub Scout pancake breakfast is designed as both a fundraising tool and to enhance community fellowship. Fundraising is a necessary component for the Cub Scouts to maintain affordable registration fees and to allow the Pack to provide quality programs to its Scouts. In the family-oriented nature of Clark Cub Scouts, each Cub Scout and their families will participate in the Pancake breakfast by volunteering their time preparing food in the kitchen, serving breakfast to guests, and helping with the set-up and clean-up of the event.
