The Guild Of Creative Art’s “All-Member Edgy“ Exhibit Opens This Weekend

SHREWSBURY- The Guild of Creative Art’s off-beat “All-Member Edgy Exhibit” will be on display for the month of January. According to Webster’s Dictionary, “Edgy” means “at the forefront of a trend, experimental, avant-garde, innovative, original, or offbeat.” The Main Gallery will showcase works in all media – acrylic, assemblage, collage and mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, sculpture, watercolor and wood in a variety of subject matter.

The guild will hold an opening reception for the exhibit on Sunday, Jan.5, from 3 – 5 p.m. The guild is located at 620 Broad Street in Shrewsbury. For more information, call 732-741-1441; email or visit

Guild hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission free; on-site parking free.
