Police Arrest Three Suspects In Perth Amboy Robberies

PERTH AMBOY — Last week, police arrested three men who allegedly committed two robberies in the area of Hall Avenue and Johnston Street earlier this month.

Cody Watson, 20, of Perth Amboy, David Allen Edwards, 18, of Fords, and Wylie True Bosques Jr., 19, of North Brunswick were arrested Dec. 13 and taken to the Middlesex County Correction Facility. Bail was set at $50,000 with no 10 percent option.

Police Detectives Carlos Rodriguez and Sandra Rivera lead the investigation of the two robberies that occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 3, between 8 and 9 p.m. in the area of Hall Avenue and Johnston Street. The robbers took iPhones and money, and one victim was reportedly  pistol-whipped. 

The charges against the suspects are merely accusations; they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
