Rahway Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer

police-tape-200x67RAHWAY – Police arrested a 32-year-old city man on Tuesday afternoon and seized marijuana, packaging material and cash from his Leesville Avenue apartment following a two-month investigation, authorities announced today.

Brandon Thomas is charged with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute, possession with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public housing complex, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Rahway Police Capt. Joseph Simonetti.

Thomas was taken to Union County Jail and bail was set at $75,000. Det. Kevin Wronski led the investigation.

The charges against Thomas are merely accusations; he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
