FORDS — On Friday, Dec. 13, the Our Lady of Peace School’s eighth grade held their annual “Christmas Bazaar” in the school cafeteria. They sold many homemade items as well as vendor-bought items and homemade treats.
Eighth grade teacher Kelly Dubasak worked after school everyday for the last several weeks with her eight grade students to make this fundraiser a huge success and it was!! Cliff Dubasak assisted as well by making Christmas trees to display the handmade Christmas ornaments that the children created for the bazaar.This fundraiser helps to defray graduation costs for the eighth grade families.
All classes grades Prek3 through eighth grade had a great time shopping for their families and went home with huge bags a goodies for the big day. Many students were joined by their parents and grandparents to help them make those important purchases while holiday music played in the background.
