Girl Scouts are ready to sing some familiar holiday songs.

CRANFORD — Caroling has become a tradition for the Girl Scouts from Clark, Winfield and Garwood who dressed in their holiday best, to make a special appearance at the Atria Senior Living Community, located in Cranford this past weekend.

The girls, led by Tracy Eltringham and Alicia Scipioni, provided some holiday caroling and spread some holiday cheer. After the Girl Scout performance, the girls greeted the residents and handed out Christmas cards that the girls made prior to the event. Smiles were everywhere and touched everyone’s hearts.

The Girl Scouts have also caroled at the Clark Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and plan on visiting the Genesis Elder Care next week. Many of the Girl Scouts who attended the event ranged from kindergarten to fifth grade and they were all equally excited to give back to their community.

Alicia Scipioni is the Troop Leader of Troop 425.
