UNION COUNTY – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Union County for Saturday, warning residents of potential hazardous travel conditions.

Snow accumulation between 4-8 inches is possible, along with a trace of ice. Snow is expected begin Saturday morning and continue throughout the day before mixing with sleet and freezing rain by late evening Saturday, into Saturday night. Winds between 10 and 20 mph with gusts of up to 30 mph are expected, with temperatures in the mid 20s.
