FORDS — Today, the Pre-K though second grade students at Our Lady of Peace School in Fords celebrated “Grinch Day”. The students and teachers read “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” and also watched the movie.

Through the story of The Grinch, they learned that “Christmas doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.” They talked about how the Grinch’s’ character changed from the beginning of the story to the end of the story and how they can relate this to their own lives.

Mrs. McGowan first grade completed the writing prompt “How Would You Make the Grinch Smile?” Everyone came to class dressed in green.
